Biography
“
Hello. As a counsellor/psychotherapist, I am committed to choosing a therapeutic approach that works best for you, and view the relationship between us both to be crucial in facilitating whatever changes you want to make.
I know that shopping around and finding the right fit is important before investing money, time and emotional energy - and so I'm always happy to have a brief informal chat before you commit to any sessions.
I work with a variety of presenting issues, and am happy to work with you for short-term or long-term therapy.
I am LGBTQIA+/GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity) allied, sex positive and body positive. I also have lived experience of Autism and ADHD and keep up to date with research and services around neurodivergence.
I have previously counselled children from age 5 upwards in school settings, and with parents in a post-natal depression charity. Prior to my counselling career, I worked in the arts and education sectors, supporting people of different ages and abilities to explore and express themselves - which it seems is something of a passion of mine. My arts training and background mean that I'm not averse to bringing creativity into the therapeutic relationship if appropriate.
** Note: Please message to check availability before purchasing a session. Thank you **
