Originally from New Zealand, I have studied and worked in a number of locations throughout the world. Each new place brings with it new challenges with opportunities to learn and grow. Having originally studied in the UK I subsequently spent time in Europe and Canada before moving to Hong Kong to complete my postgraduate education in psychology and counselling at The University of Hong Kong and Monash University Australia respectively.
I have a passion for environmental and humanitarian work, most recently focusing on refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong. As the psycho-social program coordinator at the Christian Action Center for Refugees, I managed a team of volunteer therapists and provided psychological support to clients suffering from trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression.
