Biography
“
I left school and home as soon as I could, not having enjoyed my life in the family. It was a number of years before I recovered from this experience. I therefore fully appreciate the benefits that therapy has to offer. I qualified in 1999 as a Gestalt therapist and have worked in primary health care (NHS), for Mind and Rethink and now in private practice. I have gained a wide experience of working with individuals and couples which combined with my own experiences have enabled me to help facilitate the development of clients I see. I work in a manner that seeks to empower and enable people to find their own way and make decisions for themselves. We are beings that relate to others and to our environment, this is an emphasis that is offen looked at in detail, especially in long term work. Short term problem solving or grief counselling is offen more focused work upon a small number of issues.
