Hi there,
It's a mine field trying to find the right support when you feel you've already been down every avenue and you're at your wits end. Or perhaps, you just don't want to go down the conventional route any longer? If this is the case then Nutritional intervention is without doubt the way to go.
I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist with BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and CNHC (Complimentary Natural Healthcare Council) and qualified in 2012. I use the 'Functional Medicine' approach which is about looking at the patient as an individual, considering the biochemical imbalances in the body and discovering the root cause of the problem, (rather than treating just the symptoms). We will work together in ensuring that we guide you back to optimum health and you will walk away with an optimum nutrition plan to follow. This may include a supplementation programme to support your health over a short period of time to get you back on the road to recovery.
I also work with a number of Labs to offer diagnostic testing which is very helpful in determining what is going on in the body and being able to rule out certain 'conditions'. This includes blood, stool, saliva or urine samples.
Nutrigenetics is the study of personalized nutrition based on your genetic make-up and I am a certified DNA Practitioner. With a simple non-invasive saliva swab we can look at your predisposition to possible health risks related to your specific genes. We can then make a holistic assessment of health risks, based on environmental factors (diet and lifestyle) that need to be considered. I have used this many times in my clinic, and my patients have found it very useful, particularly with weight management and overall health.
I look forward to working with you :)

Chiara Facco - Nutritionist
SPECIALIST IN Blood sugar imbalances, digestive issues, stress management, thyroid problems, weight loss, general healthy eating, hormonal issues, low energy and fatigue, cardiovascular issues and many others.
A scientist at heart, I found my passion for Nutrition after I graduated in Molecular Biology in the most prestigious Italian university and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly a decade. I now practise Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy in London and Grays (Essex), and I offer additional services ranging from 6-week healthy living programmes to nutrition workshops. I also teach Biomedicine at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. Looking at every new client as a whole, I love to put my ‘health detective’ hat on and uncover the core imbalances and root causes of symptoms and chronic conditions, and help you restore your inner balance through nutrition and lifestyle changes. It’s about making every calorie count for you as an individual.
Deborah Lacey - Nutritionist
SPECIALIST IN Digestive issues and gut health, Diabetes and blood-sugar balance, Fatigue, weight management, recovery from illness or surgery, heart health, healthy ageing.
Pressures of modern life are frequently impacting on our health and we often receive contradictory information from the media about what food is healthy or unhealthy - which can be very confusing! I like to work with my clients by focusing on their health concerns and unique requirements to produce balanced, individualised nutritional programmes that fit in with their daily routines through analysing their diet and lifestyle habits. Some of my clients have very complex issues which have troubled them for many years, and I find it hugely rewarding to guide them towards good health and also to educate them so they will be able to make their own decisions about food choices in the future for lifelong benefit.
I am a Registered Nutritionist and founder of Fresh Horizons Nutrition, having qualified at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. I'm registered with the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) as well as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I work with a 'Functional Medicine' approach which involves looking at each client as an individual, whilst considering biochemical imbalances and how all the systems of the body interact with each other.
The world of nutrition is changing all the time and I find it exciting and stimulating to keep up with research and developments. Being able to use this research and translate it into recommendations appropriate to my client’s individual needs only serves to increase my enthusiasm.
As well as one-to-one consultations, I also deliver a series of presentations to businesses which are informative about many common health concerns, helping to dispel myths and provide clear and useful guidance.

I believe everyone can benefit from nutritional therapy in order to alleviate nutritional and lifestyle imbalances that may be causing chronic, long term health problems and debilitating symptoms such as fatigue, IBS, or disordered eating/digestive issues. Understandably, these can affect a person’s enjoyment and quality of life.
I have an BSc Honours Degree in Health Science:Nutritional Therapy, and have been practising for over 12 years. I have worked with clients who frequently present with stress related symptoms, as a result of the fast pace and demands of contemporary lifestyles. This affects digestion, energy levels, and undermines their general health and sense of wellbeing.
The premise of my practice is mentoring and enabling my clients to ‘help themselves to health’. I do this by providing them with sensible, evidenced-based nutritional knowledge, personalised programmes that accommodate personal lifestyle and health goals. You may want advice on how to re-educate your eating habits to improve your overall health and wellbeing or to manage your weight or gut health.
I assess your current diet and lifestyle as well and take into account your medical history. I specialise in managing blood sugar levels and dietary retraining for weight loss and conquering yo-yo dieting. My expertise also includes women's health & hormone related conditions.
As an educator and wellness coach, I empower and motivate my clients to make better food choices, both at home and at work. Very small changes in diet and lifestyle can have enormously positive and dynamic effects, which can be noticeable within days. The net result is improved energy, improved performance and productivity and overall feeling more positive, healthy and happy.

Everyone hates diets – they are near impossible to stick to, and are setting you up for failure. I’ve been there before, even as a Registered Nutritional Therapist I know what it’s like to feel off balance and know I've got to make changes. If you’re seriously considering making changes to the way you live, including your nutrition, exercise, mental wellbeing, and stress management, you may want to experience the benefits of working with a qualified nutrition professional 1-1 who’s dedicated to your health and wellbeing.

Helen Cooke - Nutritionist
SPECIALIST IN Digestive issues (IBS/microbiome imbalance/small intestine bacterial overgrowth etc.). Other specialist areas - disordered eating, weight issues, adrenal exhaustion, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue.
My BSc in Nutritional Medicine used a functional medicine approach which takes a whole person approach to assessing the root cause of symptoms and developing a personalised strategy to address presenting issues. I specialise in digestive health and psychological health issues.
I initially trained as a nurse which helps me understand any underlying health problems.
I have worked for over 25 years in the field of whole person health (initially in a clinic supporting people with eating issues and then 16 years at the world famous Penny Brohn Cancer Care Centre). I teach nutrition to a wide range of health professionals (including medical students which ensures I keep up to date with current research). As poor digestion lies at the root of a myriad of health conditions, I have done several additional training courses to ensure I am up to date with the latest scientific thinking in this area - including the Map My Gut training with Professor Tim Spector). As I have worked in private practice for over 10 years (25 years with people with eating disorders), I have enjoyed working with people with a broad range of health issues.
